Living a rural life in Thatcher, three hours southeast of Phoenix, Kinley started raising chickens to sell at the county fair. In the end, Kinley’s six chickens sold for an impressive $2,100. The treasurer of the Small Stock Association issued a check to Kinley, which was electronically deposited into her mother Kalli Maner’s account at Chase Bank.
