Crewless “Ghost Boat” Drifts Through Washington Ferry Terminal in Unusual Sight

A large, unmanned vessel described as a 100-foot “ghost boat” drifted through the Mukilteo ferry terminal in Washington state , creating a potential safety hazard for Washington State Ferries and other marine traffic. The vessel was seen moving silently into the ferry approach without any crew or navigational lights attached, prompting concern from ferry workers and the Coast Guard.  Video shared by Washington State Ferries shows the empty, unlit boat approaching near the Tokitae ferry dock early in the morning , forcing the ferry to approach slowly under its own lights until the drifted vessel moved away.
