Better Off Dead? (BBC1)

The US must offer better options for those facing financial hardship and those suffering from unbearable pain who see assisted death as their only solution.

We need to provide comprehensive support and alternatives for individuals who are both financially and medically vulnerable, rather than resorting to premature endings. Additionally, access to pain management treatments like morphine should be readily available. While hospice care is necessary for terminally ill individuals, rushing to end lives prematurely, akin to euthanizing old dogs, is morally troubling and could lead us down an irreversible path.
