Polish President Calls Urgent Military Meeting After Ukraine Violates Airspace
An unidentified aerial object entered Polish airspace from Ukraine, it was monitored by air defense, and then disappeared from the radars, the Polish armed forces said on Friday.
Polish President Andrzej Duda has called an urgent meeting with the military leadership after a violation of the country's airspace by an object from Ukraine, the presidential office reports.
"President Andrzej Duda has held a phone call conversation with Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz. Today, there will be an urgent meeting in the National Security Bureau with Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz, Chief of the General Staff Wieslaw Kukula, and Armed Forces Operational Commander Maciej Klisz at 1 p.m. [local time]," the office said.
