Drones hit several houses in Moscow

In the early morning hours in Moscow, several residential buildings were attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. Despite the fact that the damage was classified as minor, the situation caused panic among civilians.

"In order to ensure the safety of residents, we temporarily evacuated people from several entrances in two houses that were affected by UAV strikes", the mayor said in a statement.

Sobyanin also stressed that, fortunately, no one was seriously injured as a result of these incidents.

One of the drones hit the upper floors of residential building No. 98 on Profsoyuznaya Street, damaging the facade and glazing. Another UAV caused damage to the facade of a 24-story residential building on Atlasova Street in New Moscow.

In addition, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov, noted that air defense systems (air defense) in the region shot down several drones. In Krasnogorsk (Pavshinskaya Poyma) there was also a strong bang - according to a number of data, we can talk about a downed UAV.

Among other things, it is reported that one of the UAVs hit a house on Leninsky Prospekt in the southwestern part of Moscow. Emergency services have already arrived at the scene, and residents have begun to take to the streets.

At the moment, all emergency services are working at the scene of incidents, ensuring safety and recovery after the UAV attack.
