Medevac jet crashes into residential area in US

 On the evening of January 31, 2025, a twin-engine medevac jet, identified as a Learjet 55, crashed into a residential neighborhood in northeast Philadelphia shortly after departing from Northeast Philadelphia Airport. The aircraft was en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri, carrying six individuals: a pediatric patient, an escort, and four crew members. Tragically, there are no reported survivors from the crash. 

The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. ET near the intersection of Cottman and Bustleton avenues, close to Roosevelt Mall. Eyewitnesses reported a fiery explosion upon impact, which affected several houses and vehicles in the vicinity. As of now, there are no confirmed reports of fatalities or injuries on the ground. 

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have initiated an investigation into the cause of the crash. Preliminary data indicates that the plane reached an altitude of approximately 1,650 feet before descending rapidly. Air traffic control communications revealed attempts to contact the aircraft shortly after takeoff, but no response was received. 

Local authorities have secured the crash site, and emergency response teams are conducting thorough searches to assess the extent of the damage and ensure public safety. The identities of the victims have not been released pending notification of their families. The city’s emergency management department has advised residents to avoid the area due to ongoing investigations and road closures. 

This tragic event has deeply affected the Philadelphia community, and officials are urging anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.

This WHOLE thing just got even CRAZIER!

As most of you know, there have been two major aviation incidents out here along the east coast of the United States—one over the Potomac River near DC and one last night in North Philadelphia. In fact, I have a still image from the incident in Philadelphia that occurred in a densely populated area. Just an unbelievable sequence of events. Here's a still image that was captured on an outdoor security camera not far from where the plane came down out of the sky. Well, there was another incident of a plane that came down out of the sky that you guys may not know about. Over in Fairbanks, Alaska, 72 hours earlier, an F-35, for unknown reasons, fell from the sky just like the airplane in North Philadelphia.
