Trump To Be SENTENCED in New York Case Before Inauguration

President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to be sentenced on January 10, 2025, in New York for 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to hush money payments made during the 2016 election. This sentencing date falls just ten days before his inauguration. The charges stem from payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels to conceal an "alleged" affair, with the intent to influence the 2016 presidential election. In May 2024, a jury convicted Trump on all counts. Judge Juan Merchan has indicated that Trump is unlikely to face imprisonment, fines, or probation.
