President's Attorney General Will BEGIN SPECIAL COUNSELS TO INVESTIGATE Government Officials
Pam Bondi is an excellent choice for Attorney General and is likely to be confirmed without issue.
While some believe that had Trump pushed for Matt Gaetz, he too would have been confirmed, Bondi’s appointment brings distinct advantages for several reasons.
It’s worth noting that despite the controversies, no charges have ever been brought against Gaetz. Similarly, charges against Trump have repeatedly failed to hold up. For instance, the conviction in New York was effectively dismissed, as it was widely seen as a baseless, politically motivated attempt to target a direct rival.
Reports suggest that Bondi, as Attorney General, could oversee a special counsel investigation into whether laws were broken in efforts to prosecute Trump. If Democrats unlawfully tried to imprison their political opponent, they could face repercussions under statutes like 18 U.S. Code § 371, which addresses conspiracy to defraud the United States.
Additionally, questions are emerging about potential misconduct by certain officials, including allegations of perjury or misuse of government authority to promote false narratives. If proven, these actions would also fall under the same statute that was unsuccessfully leveraged against Trump. Bondi’s leadership could be instrumental in addressing these legal and ethical violations.
