Migrant Thieves Raid Macys…
Before Trump Deports Them
Surveillance footage captures the chaos as barbers and customers duck for cover and scramble to safety. One barber is seen bravely trying to subdue two armed gunmen. Police report that the alleged thieves, all from South America and in the U.S. illegally, used power tools to cut a hole in the roof of a floral shop and then torches with flammable gases to break through the wall into Elegant Jewelers next door.
Meanwhile, the NYPD has been cracking down on illegal street vendors for the second consecutive day, confiscating merchandise including clothing, jewelry, and power tools—some of which are reportedly stolen. Authorities also required ankle GPS monitors for certain individuals, but only three complied, and they later cut off their monitors in New Jersey.
These incidents highlight broader issues of crime and border security, which have become central topics in the presidential campaign. Critics argue that New York City's sanctuary policies have created an environment where criminals exploit the asylum system. While former President Trump's proposed deportation efforts targeting criminals, gang members, and other dangerous individuals might address some of these problems, their implementation remains a point of contention.
