FBI investigates bomb threats, swatting made against Gaetz, Stefanik

The FBI is investigating bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting properties of several Trump cabinet nominees. The threats began Tuesday night and continued into Wednesday morning, according to Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt.

- No credible threats or explosives were found; several threats were traced to social media. Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance were not targeted.

- The FBI stated: “We are aware of numerous bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting incoming administration nominees and appointees. We are working with law enforcement partners and encourage the public to report suspicious activities.” (The Associated Press)
