I Went To A Kamala Harris Rally In Michigan. It Was Pitiful.
The main thing I am taking from this video is that most of those interviewed thought the country definitely needed improvement. Anyone "But" Trump... So, are they 'settling' for Kamala? It also seems that all asked questions about why they didn't like Trump couldn't really name a thing that he did that was so terrible. They also hang on the disinformation that Trump will take away their rights to Abortion.
There was also mention of Project 2025.
"Project 2025" is a conservative policy initiative organized primarily by the Heritage Foundation, involving contributions from over 110 conservative groups, including Turning Point USA, the National Rifle Association, and Alliance Defending Freedom. The project is aimed at guiding policy decisions for the next conservative administration, with recommendations on a range of issues such as government structure, social policies, energy, and education.
Key proposals in Project 2025 include restructuring federal departments like the Department of Health and Human Services to align more closely with traditional family values. The plan also advocates for limiting federal funding and support for gender-affirming care and LGBTQ+ rights, proposing a redefined "Department of Life" that would oppose gender-affirming policies and endorse a biblical family model. On education, the project suggests reducing federal oversight, potentially eliminating the Department of Education to give more authority to states and localities over curricula, emphasizing the removal of non-traditional gender and sexual identity education from schools【546†source】【547†source】.
The economic aspects of Project 2025 include favoring policies that promote traditional energy sources, suggesting an emphasis on fossil fuels over renewable energy, citing the need for economic stability. The proposal criticizes the current administration’s green initiatives, framing them as threats to economic and energy stability.
Overall, Project 2025 outlines a vision of a smaller, more decentralized federal government with a strong emphasis on traditional values, aligning with conservative social and economic goals to shape federal policy in ways that prioritize state authority and individual liberties.
