Why Everyone Will Soon Doubt Everything They Can See
I didn't expect to find this out when I studied both history and the Bible together.
Mark Zuckerberg predicts that holograms will soon be a part of everyday life. "In the future, not too far from now, you're going to walk into a room, and there will be as many holograms of digital things for you to interact with as there are physical objects," he says. "Think about hanging out with your friends—pretty soon, I think we're going to be at a point where some of your friends are there physically, and others are there digitally as avatars, as holograms. They'll feel just as present as everyone else."
But is anyone else feeling hesitant about all these technological advancements? When I saw the $2 billion sphere in Las Vegas and Neom's plans to build an immersive cube called The Maab in Saudi Arabia, I couldn't help but think of something potentially very similar predicted in the Bible: "Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, standing in the Holy Place (whoever reads, let him understand)."
