It's not like Russia wasn't provoked. Putin is doing what he needs to do to protect his people and his country. 

Let's be clear: it's not NATO, it's the USA calling the shots. NATO simply follows our lead. NATO is far from a defensive alliance; just look at their track record. They illegally bombed Yugoslavia, a direct violation of the UN Charter. And let's never forget what they did in Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria.
