I talk to megachurch black pastors, street pastors, violent gang members who have come out of prison trying to reform their community—some having served 21 years for murder, others 26 years. I also speak with soup kitchen workers and everyone in between on the south side of Chicago: black residents, black Americans. They all tell me, to a man and woman, that they are going to war. It took me aback for a second, so I clarified what they meant by war. They said it means doing whatever it takes to maintain and protect their community.

A black pastor, known as the rooftop pastor, who Tucker Carlson interviewed for many months, sat on top of a building during the winter to combat the prostitution and crime across the street from his church. Pastor Brooks told me we are one black teenager being raped by these Venezuelan gangs, or one black gang member killing a Venezuelan gang member, away from Chicago exploding. Everyone knows it.

It's not coincidental—last week, the DNC announced they are rethinking the Chicago convention and might do it remotely. They know, as well as I do, that this is a powder keg ready to explode. Can you hold the Democratic National Convention in Chicago with its current state? What do you have to show for it? As discussed with Mark, the activist, you're seeing that Democrats have destroyed the city, and now you want to bring the Democratic National Convention there. This is an absolute powder keg moment.

We throw the term war around a lot, and I've thought about this since we've been talking over the past few days. I used to think it would be a civil war—Americans against Americans. But now, I see it differently. What you're uncovering in Chicago and in your documentary "Treason" shows it's an invasion, and the war will be repelling this invasion. Americans coming together, Republicans and Democrats, MAGA Americans and liberal Democrats, would say enough is enough and want to take their country back. The powers that be would hate that.
