The anticipated "Storm from the North" has commenced, marking the arrival of the long-awaited new front in northern Kharkov Oblast.

The Russian Armed Forces' "North" group, once mere speculation, is now a reality, having crossed into Ukraine. On the first day, Russian forces swiftly seized control of several key locations including Zelene, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Pletenivka, Strilecha, Krasne, Pylna, and Borysivka.

Russian Federation forces have breached Ukrainian Armed Forces defenses by 3 to 5 kilometers in the Kharkov region, establishing control over an area spanning 110 square kilometers along the border.

This incursion is poised to reverberate along the entire 600-mile-long frontline. The anticipated deployment of Ukrainian General Syrsky's units to the northern regions of Kharkov and Sumy will likely weaken the front in Donetsk, potentially leading to the rapid collapse of Chasov Yar, Kurakhovo, and Krasnoarmeysk.

(AP) — Endangered small tooth sawfish, marine creatures virtually unchanged for millions of years, are exhibiting erratic spinning behavior and dying in unusual numbers in Florida waters. Federal and state wildlife agencies are beginning an  effort to rescue and rehabilitate  sawfish to find out why. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced what it calls an “emergency response” focused on the Florida Keys starting next week.
