CERN: Demons Returning Through Dark Matter Portals

CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is an intergovernmental organization overseeing the world's largest particle physics laboratory.

Founded in 1954, it's situated in Meyrin, near Geneva, straddling the France–Switzerland border. With 23 member states, including Israel, which joined in 2013, it's notable as the sole non-European full member. Recognized as a United Nations General Assembly observer, CERN plays a pivotal role in advancing scientific understanding worldwide.
