Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has signed a law reactivating a committee that can monitor local prosecutors like Fulton County DA Fani Willis. 

The Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission was initially established last year but blocked by the state Supreme Court.

Musk and Ackman announced their backing after  the former president was shot  in an assassination attempt, while the A16z founders Andreessen and Horowitz pointed to Trump's policies on cryptocurrency and taxes in a lengthy podcast. Meanwhile, billionaire philanthropist  Melinda French Gates  and LinkedIn cofounder Reid Hoffman have voiced their support for Harris.
