Female martial artists are refusing to compete in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament because men who claim to be “transgender women” have “completely overtaken the women’s categories” of The North American Grappling Association (NAGA).

The company’s website now tells customers, “All Rite Aid stores have now closed,” confirming that the chain has ended retail operations nationwide.  This final step follows two bankruptcy filings in less than two years—first in October 2023, and again in May 2025. Court records and news reports say the company could not steady sales or manage its debts after restructuring. At its peak, Rite Aid ran more than 5,000 stores. By late September 2025, fewer than 100 locations remained, and those last sites closed this week, ending the brand’s 63-year run.  If you filled prescriptions at Rite Aid, the company says you can look up where your records were transferred using the “Find Your New Pharmacy” tool on its website.
