Rates among Transgender Individuals

A new study out of Denmark finds that transgender individuals have "significantly higher rates of suicide attempts." This shows that people who DO live an affirmed life still have a high risk of suicide. Not affirming gender does not decrease this risk. Meanwhile, GLAAD has published an open letter from celebrities to speak out on behalf of transgender medicalization. They want social media to disallow people from saying that medicalization of gender ideology is harmful.

Who is Abrego Garcia? Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a resident of Maryland, was deported to El Salvador in March 2025 due to what U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) described as an "administrative error." The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has alleged that Abrego Garcia is affiliated with the MS-13 gang, citing a 2019 tip from a confidential informant.   However, these claims have been contested in court, with no substantial evidence presented to substantiate the gang affiliation. Abrego Garcia has consistently denied any involvement with MS-13, and his attorneys argue that the accusations are based on unreliable information.
